Vitec Software Group is a software company with a focus on countries in Northern Europe and is listed on Nasdaq Stockholm. The Group's operating activities are conducted in separate companies, each with its own CEO who reports to the Parent Company through the Vice President of Operations (VPO). The companies are well-run and established niche software companies. Vitec is rapidly growing through acquisitions.  

The position of VPO is similar to that of a working chairman of the board for several companies, with the important difference that you will be part of a team that currently includes five VPOs. With this arrangement, you will have experienced colleagues who share the same group-wide goal: ensuring that all of our companies continue to develop.  

The job includes

• following up, setting requirements for and providing support to the CEOs of the various companies.
• being responsible for promoting and ensuring the commercial and organizational development of the respective companies, which are followed up separately.
• efficiently integrating newly acquired companies into the Group
• running group-wide projects.

You will report to the COO and be part of the Vitec Group’s management team. 

We are looking for someone who has served as CEO or held a similar position with full responsibility for the company’s financial performance. The ideal candidate will have international experience and experience from different types of businesses. Candidates should be used to working in senior management and have experience of board work. Past experience in the IT industry, in software or product development, preferably with SaaS as business and delivery model, is also desirable. 

Since an important aspect of the job as our VPO involves coaching CEOs and helping them to develop their businesses, a genuine interest in leadership is required. Our companies have a strong entrepreneurial spirit that we actively cultivate, so the successful candidate will have an approach that nurtures this value. Since the VPO will work remotely at times, it is important that candidates feel comfortable with this work format and management style.

• has a degree in finance or engineering  
• is persistent and takes an objective approach with a sense of the big picture 
• can achieve long-term results 

We are a Group of software companies in the Nordics and in the Netherlands with our headquarters in Sweden. In this recruitment we want to find someone who will be the Finnish representative in the VPO group. The right candidate is fluent in Finnish and can also communicate freely and professionally in English.

We have businesses in many locations throughout Northern Europe. Regardless of where in Finland the VPO lives, the successful candidate must be used to and willing to travel on business, since the companies for which the VPO will be responsible will be located anywhere within Vitec´s geography.
